Another really easy way to enjoy peaches! Pretty much a slice-n-bake recipe that is more fresh and healthy than cookie dough will ever be.
- 2 or 3 good sized fresh peaches, washed
- Turbinado Sugar (optional)
Half the peaches and remove the pit. Slice into wedges. You can keep the skin on or remove it (I kept it on.)
Place peach slices on a foil lined cookie sheet. Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon. Drizzle with honey. Sprinkle with sugar if desired (if our peaches aren’t quite ripe, you might like the sugar to add just a touch of extra sweetness. But if they’re nice and ripe, they probably won’t need it.)
Bake the peaches in a 375-degree oven for 20-15 minutes.
Serve the baked peaches warm. Feel free to top them with ice cream or whipped cream. (Strawberry ice cream is really good!)
