Yes, I’m well aware of the fact that last week past and that I totally forgot to post my menu plan for the week. I did DO the menu plan, I just neglected to share it with all of you. I’m very sorry about that.
Here is the new menu plan for THIS week. So you’ll not be without your recipe fix.
There are some yummy recipes here for you. I will tell you that the Chicken Yakisoba is really good. I know this because I made it recently and there was only a handfull of it left over – not really even enough for lunch at work. I guess everyone was hungry!
Fake-out Risotto – we’ve had this before and it was pretty good. I plan to supplement it with some additional meat in the form of locally-sourced hot italian sausage. MMM!
Chicken Tostadas – this is a new one that I pulled from my Cooking Light chicken cookbook. It looks really good in the photos, and I like that it has a variety of veggies in it.
Chicken Yakisoba – as I mentioned, this one was a hit and even though there were a ton of veggies in it, it was pretty much gone. This was billed as a very budget conscious recipe, so you’ll see on the post that they say you can feed the family for only $10 with this recipe. Nice.
Chicken with Creamy Bacon Sauce – this is a winner for so many reasons. I serve it with noodles and steamed broccoli. Also, I cheat a little and just saute the chicken with the garlic, rather than rubbing the garlic on it (seems like that would be messy.)
