Hi all! I’m sure you are very busy making plans for New Years Eve. Why wouldn’t you be? I’m sure that we all are ready to leave 2016 behind, right?
What better way to ring in the new year than with a delicious cocktail? I recently had a chance to try this one out on a few friends of mine (shout out to Marilyn and Tracy!) and they deemed it not only yummy, but downright celebratory! So take chance on a sweet and sparkling beverage tomorrow night and enjoy!
Honey Bourbon Sparkler
Warm 1 cup honey in a saucepan over medium-low heat until liquefied. Let stand until mostly cooled. Stir in 3 cups bourbon, then pour into a large punch bowl or pitcher along with 2 chilled 750-ml bottles of prosecco and some ice. Serves 10.
NOTES: I halved the recipe to serve the three of us and there was more than enough for us to have two cocktails each.
You can also stretch this and make it a tad less potent by topping off each serving with some sparkling water.
