So now that Cyber- whatever is over and you’ve black-Friday’ed yourself to death, I’m betting you still have some shopping to do don’t ya?
Well, I’m here to help. I’m going to post over the next week or so several great places to visit or shop online to get some great gifts. Some are food-related, some aren’t. But most of them are local and will help to support some hard-working folks!
So take a gander at what’s being shared, and by all means, if you have a favorite local spot, let me know!
ZASSDesign: If you’re a fan of the craft beer trend, you’ll love these beautiful bracelets made out of some of the most artistic beer cans on the market. They are fun and unique and perfect for that girl-about-town who has everything!
Pop-Up Raleigh Vintage Market: Looking for another place to knock off several gifts at once? Head out this Saturday to the Pop-Up Raleigh Vintage Market at Trophy Brewing and Taproom on Maywood Avenue. Not only will you get to peruse tongs of great local vendors, you can enjoy a tasty brew as well! Get more info here.
RALEIGH MAKERS MARKET: This next amazing place to shop for great holiday gifts is the Maker’s Market, located at the Raleigh Beer Garden THIS SATURDAY from 12-4 pm. You can enjoy beer and food from the restaurant while you shop and listen to live music. I hear the weather this weekend should be splendid, so you really have zero reasons not to drop by and check out these amazing artists and designers. Check out the event’s Facebook page for more info, which has lots of photos and a list of vendors (who also have website and FB links of their own for you out-of-town and online shoppers!)
HOUSE OF SWANK: Today’s amazing place to shop was inspired by a really big, buff guy at the gym. He was working out hard right in front of my treadmill and he had all the gear – the headphones, the weight belt, the gloves. But what really made the outfit was his t-shirt. We happened to walk out together and he told me he got it at House of Swank. So there you go – look as cool as a buff guy at the gym while supporting local!
